So, I deleted the partition and let Windows installer do what it wanted. So what? I had a freshly formatted HD to install on, but the installer said it couldn't be installed on that drive. The jacket the DVD is in says it is to be used by people who make PCs for sale, and isn't intended to be used by individuals.
